Adel Benna, married to Melanie, has lived in Britain for nearly 20 years, but was born and brought up in Nabeul, Tunisia.

Fluent in 4 languages, English, French, Arabic and Tunisian Arabic, Adel has extensive knowledge of the Nabeul/Hammamet area and is familiar with all the laws and regulations concerning property or land acquisition.

Having designed his own seven bedroomed villa with only minimal assistance from his architect, he is able to pass on knowledge and assistance to anybody wanting to build their own home in Tunisia.

Adel's original background is in the financial and accountancy sector, specialising in cost accounting.  However, after working for a number of years for a company manufacturing whirlpool systems, he is also a skilled designer and fitter of spa and jacuzzi baths, a must-have addition for your dream home in the sun!

Melanie Benna was born and brought up in Nottinghamshire and is now living in Beni Khiar in Tunisia, with 5 of her 6 children. Her eldest child who is currently completing her studies in Canterbury, hopes eventually to move to Tunisia to help with the family business.

Melanie is a former Legal Secretary, but is now overseeing the final stages of the building of their villa. She has created her own website, designed to assist the British expat moving to, or living in Tunisia. With two of her children in full time Tunisian local schools, Melanie is able to give advice on her experiences of living and bringing up children in Tunisia.
