Homes Beni Khiar

Beni Khiar

In 2006, we reported that one British family was living in Beni Khiar.  Since then, more and more people are beginning to discover that by buying their home in Beni Khiar, they can benefit from being near to the cosmopolitan town of Nabeul (only 4km away,) but are still able to experience a taste of country life, in this quiet town with good schools, high street with essential shops, post office, doctors, dental surgeries and other amenities.  The added bonus is that Beni Khiar has a pretty, traditional port area, with fresh fish every day, as well as a lovely sandy beach and a very popular beachside cafe with a child friendly garden.  Buying here, you can benefit from the low prices with a family-sized villa for the same price as an apartment in nearby Nabeul or Hammamet!

Away from the beachfront and into the town, you are able to wander down narrow, traditional lanes housing old, traditional, Arab houses and watch the creation of woollen cloth, carpets, blankets and traditional clothes, from the spinning of the raw wool, right through to the composition of themes and shades in meaning or colours.
